Job Description:

Security Responsibilities:
* Develop and implement effective loss prevention strategies to minimise theft and shrinkage.
* Implement security strategies and policies aligned with the company's overall goals and objectives.
* Conduct risk assessments of stores and identify potential vulnerabilities, taking corrective actions when necessary.
* Develop and maintain relationships with local Gardai and other relevant agencies for effective crime resolution.
* Investigate, resolve, and report suspected thefts, fraud, or illegal activities to Gardai and relevant agencies.
* Manage security policies, monitor electronic surveillance systems, conduct investigations, and report trends.
Health and Safety Responsibilities:
* Collaborate with operations, legal, and health & safety departments to align security and safety policies.
* Oversee safety standards within the store, including safety inspections.
Training and Development:
* Manage, support, train, and develop security teams.
* Establish a strong loss prevention culture within the store.
* Educate staff on security and health & safety issues, providing relevant training.
* Coordinate with contractors and suppliers to meet security standards.
Requirements:
* At least 3 years of experience in asset protection, loss prevention, or security management, preferably in retail.
* Strong knowledge of security strategies, electronic surveillance, physical security, and inventory control.
* Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and IT skills.
* Ability to develop policies and procedures aligned with company goals.
* Strong communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a results-oriented approach.
* Willingness to travel to various locations as required.
Additional Experience:
* Experience handling shrink and crime resolution in a busy retail setting.
* Ability to resolve external theft situations professionally and safely.
