Design Build Search are working with one of Irelands leading Civil Engineering contractors. Due to a healthy order book and strong pipeline of work they have Project Management opportunities. The successful candidate will oversee all stages of project delivery, from planning through to completion, ensuring quality, safety, and value for all stakeholders.

Requirements:
Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 5+ years' proven experience in a project management role within civil engineering or construction.
• Demonstrable track record of delivering public realm projects, ideally in complex urban environments.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Project, with the ability to draft, update, and manage live programmes.
• Solid knowledge of civil engineering techniques, traffic management, utilities coordination, and reinstatement works.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Commercial awareness with experience of public works contracts (desirable).
• Full driving licence and willingness to travel to project sites as required.
Requirements include:
• Lead and manage civil engineering projects from inception to completion, ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
• Develop, maintain, and update detailed project programmes using Microsoft Project, including critical path analysis, resource allocation, and progress tracking.
• Monitor project performance against programme, proactively identifying delays, risks, and opportunities, and implementing mitigation strategies.
• Coordinate with Contracts Managers, Site Managers, Engineers, and Commercial teams to ensure seamless alignment of project goals.
• Build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships, including clients, local authorities, utilities providers, and the general public.
• Ensure full compliance with contract requirements, Health & Safety legislation, and our clients policies
• Provide regular reports to senior management on project status, programme updates, risks, and key issues.
• Support tender submissions by preparing project programmes and offering planning expertise
