About the Team
As 1GLOBAL expands into new markets, it is critical for us to maintain compliance in these new jurisdictions. This position entails planning, provisioning, testing, and managing software that is used to meet regulatory requirements for lawful interception requests.
You will collaborate with 1GLOBAL engineers and the Legal, Regulatory, Security and Technology teams to develop country-specific solutions, manage and test the entire software lifecycle, and ensure alignment on Lawful Intercept and compliance projects. Additionally, you will oversee multiple projects, communicate with national authorities to translate legal requirements into scalable solutions, and perform as a subject matter expert for Lawful Intercept within the company.
About the Role

Engage with all stakeholders (internal and external) to determine the technical and processual requirements, risks, technical impacts to understand the best solution for each country.
Manage multiple concurrent projects and provide regular updates on schedule and deliverables to senior management.
Take ownership of the conversation with national authorities with respect to turning their legal requirements into actionable, scalable, and sustainable solutions.
Design new lawful interception integrations for the different enforcement agencies in all the MVNOs and countries.
Collaborate and create processes, together with Legal, Security and Regulatory teams, applicable to security and compliance of lawful intercept processes.
Act as the technical point of contact for all engineering and integration issues relating to Lawful Intercept projects and create alignment across all partners.
Drive the complete lifecycle of the relevant software, including testing with various law enforcement agencies around the world.
Collaborate with lawful interception operational processes and procedures.
Collaborate with technical teams in defining reliable, modular, scalable, compliance-centric solutions, as well as planning and reviewing solutions.
Design and present solutions in documents and workshops, identifying impacts, effort, and resources needed.
Prospect new solutions through elaboration and analysis of Request for Information/Proposal/Quotation processes and negotiate with potential suppliers.
Follow up on new technology trends in the telecom industry and identify interesting solutions for the lawful interception domain.
Define and follow up on company technological evolution roadmaps.
Document the existing technology portfolio and propose recommendations for improvements or alternatives.
Ensure and control quality of documentation (HLDs, LLDs, changes, etc.).
Ensure and control implementation quality, including software upgrades, and understand end-to-end system testing requirements in a compliance environment.
Ensure the network is compliant with industry standards and regulations regarding lawful interception.
Conduct capacity and performance analysis, reporting, and improvement solution definition.
Reach out to other teams and work toward alignment and continuous improvement.

Requirements
About You
Must-haves

Degree in Telecom Engineering or Computer Science or equivalent experience.
English proficiency mandatory; other languages are a plus.
Excellent understanding of mobile networks and their architectures.
Experience with MVNO architecture(s) and landscape. Familiar with roaming environment, including its technical, commercial and regulatory aspects.
Experience in lawful interception frameworks (ETSI, CALEA, etc.) and standards in mobile networks.
Experience with lawful intercept gateways, mediation and delivery functions.
Experience with service interception in core network functions (CS and PS Voice, SMS/MMS, Data).
Experience with interception in 5G core mobile networks.
Experience with lawful interception procedures and associated processes.
Experience in communications with telecom regulators and lawful enforcement agencies and sensitivity of such communications.
Experience with LTE, 5G, IMS, IP technologies and protocols.
Solid knowledge of networking principles & protocols, including security.
Experience in writing high level designs and low level designs, and presenting internal and external documents.
Familiarity with monitoring tools and protocols in mobile networks.
Proactive attitude, anticipating problems and addressing them before they cause impact.
Ability to work in complex environments (multicultural/multi-country/geographically distributed teams).
High attention to detail. Doesn't leave things to be addressed or left undone.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Nice-to-haves

Business oriented, capable of engaging and discussing with non-technical persons to create technical requirements.
Experience in setting up VPNs across multiple diverse vendors.
Experience in generating and revoking security certificates.
Experience with legal and regulatory processes of compliance.
Security accreditations and certifications.
+8 years working on telecoms, designing and implementing mobile core network services.
