Key Leadership Position:
We are seeking a seasoned Sales Operations Manager to lead our EMEA Sales Operations function.
Job Description:
This is a high-profile, full-time leadership role that requires a skilled professional with experience in managing technical estimating and inside sales teams, driving continuous improvement, and optimising processes for operational excellence.
* Provide overall leadership and direction for the EMEA Sales Operations function, fostering a culture of high performance and aligning departmental activities with company strategy.
* Interface with key vendors, partner with Procurement on optimal pricing agreements, and develop robust pricing tools to ensure consistent tender performance and cost certainty.
* Lead and manage estimating teams across all product categories, oversee project workload distribution, and ensure accountability for technical/commercial accuracy and timely, high-quality bid submissions.
* Identify automation opportunities and implement software solutions for efficiency and standardisation.
* Manage Inside Sales and Administrative teams, oversee the quotation and management of Managed Service Agreements and repeatable standard product sales.
* Act as a key liaison across departments.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
* Sales Operations experience in a technical, manufacturing, or critical power environment.
* Proven leadership experience managing cross-functional teams.
* Strong commercial acumen and a deep understanding of the electrical or data centre industries.
* Familiarity with Lean principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
* Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP preferred), Microsoft Office (especially Excel), and CRM tools.
* Exceptional communication, organisational, and analytical skills.
