1. Outlier is looking for talented writers with fluency in Thai to help train generative artificial intelligence models.
2. This freelance opportunity is remote and hours are flexible, so you can work whenever is best for you.
3. Your tasks will include reading Thai text to rank responses produced by an AI model, writing short stories in Thai on given topics, and assessing the factual accuracy of Thai texts generated by AI.
Examples of desirable expertise:
1. Experience as a professional translator.
2. Enrollment in or completion of an undergraduate program in a humanities field or related to writing.
3. Enrollment in or completion of a graduate program related to creative writing.
Payment:
1. Core project work by Thai writing experts averages USD $15 per hour.
2. Rates vary based on expertise, skills assessment, location, project need, and other factors. Higher rates may be offered to PhDs. Non-core work, such as onboarding or overtime, may have lower rates. Incentive payments may also be available.
