About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated ESH (Environmental, Health and Safety) advisor to oversee and ensure compliance with all quality, environmental, health, and safety regulations.
This role is pivotal in maintaining our high standards and certifications, including ISO ****, ISO *****, and ISO The ideal candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented, and possess a strong background in QEHS practices.
Responsibilities:
Quality Management:
Develop and maintain the company's Quality Management System (QMS).
Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure compliance.
Manage customer complaints, ensuring proper communication and resolution.
Identify and fix quality issues using root cause analysis and corrective actions.
Environmental Management:
Implement and maintain environmental management systems, following ISO standards.
Lead efforts to reduce the company's environmental impact and promote sustainability.
Health & Safety Management:
Develop and monitor health and safety policies.
Conduct risk assessments and ensure safety measures are followed.
Investigate incidents and recommend solutions to prevent them in the future.
Provide health and safety training to staff.
Prepare risk assessments and method statements (RAMS) for projects.
Regulatory Compliance:
Stay updated on QEHS laws and standards to ensure compliance.
Prepare and submit necessary reports to regulatory authorities.
Continuous Improvement:
Promote a culture of continuous improvement in QEHS practices.
Lead and support projects to improve quality, environmental, and safety performance.
Administration Duties:
Track inspection and audit performance.
Prepare and maintain safety reports and certifications.
Track training requirements and update training records.
Maintain HSE records, including accident files, inspection reports, follow-ups, and statistical data.
Qualifications and Experience:
A degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health and Safety, Quality Management, or a related field.
Professional certifications such as IOSH, or equivalent.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
