We are seeking an accomplished IT Field Engineer to join our team.
About the Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering new IT solutions and projects to clients while ensuring successful delivery through collaboration with project managers and clients.
Main Responsibilities:
* Plan, install, and configure IT infrastructure (servers, storage, networking, cloud)
* Deliver new IT solutions and projects to client specifications and standards
* Collaborate with project managers and clients to ensure successful delivery
* Document installations, configurations, and project activities
* Provide on-site/remote support during deployments, troubleshooting issues
* Assist pre-sales with technical input for solution design and quotes
* Build strong client relationships throughout project lifecycles
* Share knowledge with internal teams and support handovers
* Ensure compliance with company, security, and H&S standards
* Complete assignments on time and report progress to stakeholders
Requirements and Qualifications
* At least 2 years of experience in network/server support and installations
* Knowledge of LAN/WAN, network services, and security
* Familiarity with TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, SNMP, RDP
* Windows Server, Active Directory, Hyper-V & VMware vSphere/ESXi experience
* Firewall experience (Fortinet or similar) desirable
* Exposure to wireless network implementation beneficial
* Strong Microsoft application skills and IT literacy
* Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving ability
* Proactive, adaptable, and eager to learn in a fast-paced environment
