We are seeking an organised and detail-oriented Accounts Assistant to join our Finance team. This role will support a range of accounting and administrative activities to ensure the smooth running of financial operations.
Responsibilities
* Engage across departments to resolve invoice queries
* Reconcile supplier statements and address any discrepancies
* Prepare and process supplier payments
* Record banking transactions accurately in the accounting system
* Work closely with other departments to support financial processes
* Assist with finance projects and administrative duties as required
* Process supplier invoices, ensuring accuracy and proper approval
Experience
* Strong attention to detail and accuracy
* Excellent numerical and analytical ability
* Proficient in accounting software such as Sage
* Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel and financial reporting tools
* Proactive and team-focused approach
* Able to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Qualifications
* 1–3 years' experience in a commercial accounting role
* Knowledge of Irish tax regulations (VAT and RCT) is an advantage

* Hours 8.00am to 5.30pm Mon to Thurs, 4.00pm early finish Fridays
