- THE ROLE -
The postholder will work closely with their line manager to gain a good understanding of processes and systems, after which the postholder will work with their own portfolio and support the team in delivering a sustainable procurement service for the University.
The postholder will contribute to continued improvement to help the University achieve its overall objectives and achieve value for money through best procurement practices.
- ABOUT YOU -
- A good standard of numeracy and literacy evidenced either by qualification (GCSE English and Maths at Grade C or equivalent) or by work-related activities and experience.
Or
-NVQ Level 2 in Business, Procurement (Supply Chain), or related subjects.
- Experience with a wide range of IT systems in a professional environment, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Knowledge and/or experience of Procurement (including buying or tendering).
- Evidence of the ability to work on one's own initiative with minimum supervision.
