Excel Recruitment are seeking a reliable and hardworking Commis Chef to join one of our clients on a permanent basis.
Shifts Monday through Friday between the hours of 13.00 and 20.00.
Responsibilities of a Commis Chef
* Assist in food preparation, ensuring hygiene and safety standards are met
* Serve food and beverages in a professional manner
* Clean and maintain kitchen and dining areas, including washing dishes and equipment
* Stock and replenish food stations and service areas
* Work as part of a team to ensure efficient food service
* Handle customer queries and provide excellent service
* Support chefs and kitchen staff as required
Requirements of Commis Chef
* Previous experience in a catering, hospitality, or food service role (preferred but not essential)
* Basic food hygiene knowledge (Food Safety certificate required)
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
* Effective communication and teamwork skills
* A positive attitude and willingness to learn
* Full Manual Handling certificate (Training can be provided)
* Own transport or ability to get to unit
