Position Overview:
We are excited to announce an opening for a Junior Accountant within our dynamic Finance team This is a crucial role in ensuring seamless operations within SEAtS ONE. This role is ideal for recent graduates or individuals starting their career in accounting, providing an excellent opportunity to develop skills and gain experience in financial reporting, bookkeeping, and tax compliance. The successful candidate must be highly motivated and detail-oriented.

Role Responsibilities:
* Assisting with the preparation of financial statements and reports
* Processing invoices, payments and expenses as well as cash collection
* Performing bank reconciliations and general ledger maintenance
* Supporting month-end and year-end closing processes
* Assisting with tax filings (VAT, corporation tax, etc.)
* Conducting financial analysis and assisting with budgeting
* Ensuring compliance with accounting standards and company policies
* Collaborating closely with senior accountants and finance managers
* Handling ad-hoc accounting tasks as required
Requirements:
* Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
* Recently qualified or almost qualified in ACA, ACCA or CIMA.
* Strong numerical and analytical skills
* Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., Xero, QuickBooks, SAP or Accounts IQ)
* Excellent attention to detail and time management skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Strong communication skills
* Willingness to learn and develop within the role
Desirable (Not Essential):
* Some experience in an accounting role (internships, placements, or part-time work)

Location:
The role will be based in SEAtS ONE Office in Bray, Co. Wicklow. We currently have hybrid working in place, combining office-based working with working from home.
