Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Part Qualified Accountant to join our team. This role offers the opportunity to play a key part in the day-to-day financial operations, driving efficiency, client relationships, and ensuring accuracy in our company's financial processes.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining smooth financial operations, contributing to our company's continued success, and assisting managers on special client projects and assignments.
* Prepare year-end non-audit company accounts and working papers up to review stage.
* Reconcile balance sheet items, including VAT, payroll, leases, hire purchases, and fixed assets.
* Apply solid knowledge of accounting principles to post journals onto accounting software accurately.
* Assist in the preparation of management accounts.
* Prepare statutory financial statements, ensuring compliance with deadlines, checklists, and procedural requirements.
* Support year-end close processes, including the preparation of year-end journals.
* Assist in the preparation of Corporation Tax returns.
About You
To succeed in this role, you should have:
* A minimum of 2+ years of general accounting practice experience.
* Results-driven with strong technical abilities and financial acumen.
* Excellent communication skills with a strong focus on customer care.
* Highly organized with excellent planning abilities.
* Proficient in both written and spoken English.
* Ability to work independently and take initiative.
* Intermediate to advanced Excel skills preferred.
* Experience with the Microsoft Office Suite.
