ICCL is currently seeking an External Chair for the Board's Finance, Audit and Risk (FAR) Sub-Committee.The External Chair is not an appointed member of the ICCL CLG Board of Directors. This is to enable the Sub-Committee Chair to bring independent expertise, impartial oversight to the ICCL Board of Directors through the Sub-Committees regular reports to the Board of Directors.IdeallyThe candidate must be a qualified Accountant, ideally with at least 5 years seniormanagement experience.Their role will be to evaluate and monitor the adequacy of the Financial Controls andprocedures and ensure that the organisation is compliant with best practice principles.They will provide an overview of the finances to advise the Board on the financialimplications of proposals, cashflow problems etc.Previous board level experience.The Finance, Audit and Risk Sub-Committee meets at least 4 time a year, in our offices at 1st Floor, Castleriver House, 14/15 Parliament Street, Dublin, D02 FW60; however remote/online attendance can be accommodated.
