Senior Occupational Therapist
Medforce Recruitment is delighted to partner with a Primary Care team in Monaghan to recruit a Senior Occupational Therapist to work with paediatric clients. This is a rewarding opportunity to lead and deliver high-quality, early intervention services to children and families within a supportive and family-centred care model.
Responsibilities
* Provide specialist assessment and intervention to children with a range of developmental, sensory, and functional needs
* Develop individualised care plans and deliver therapy in clinic, home, and educational settings as appropriate
* Work collaboratively with families, educators, and the wider primary care team to ensure coordinated, goal-focused support
* Supervise and support junior Occupational Therapists and contribute to student training
* Participate in service development, audits, and team-based quality improvement initiatives
Requirements
* A recognised qualification in Occupational Therapy
* CORU registration (essential)
* Minimum 3 years post-qualification experience, with at least 1 year in paediatric services
* Strong knowledge of child development, sensory integration, and family-centred practice
* Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
* A full driver’s licence and access to transport for community visits
