Job Title: Gymnastics Program Coordinator
Job Summary: Sport in Schools is seeking an experienced sports coach/teacher to manage and coordinate our in school gymnastics programs. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating and implementing lesson plans, running job sites and ensuring the safety and well-being of all students. This role requires a highly organized individual with a passion for teaching and working with children. The job involves travelling to different schools each day working primary school hours. Full paid training will be provided to successful candidate along with a company vehicle. The successful candidate would ideally be able to work a paid trial in September and start the role in October (but dates are somewhat flexible). N.B. Full clean drivers license needed
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and implement gymnastics lesson plans that align with organizational goals and objectives
* Plan, schedule and oversee gymnastics classes in different schools each day
* Moving equipment each day to set up a gym in school halls
* Develop and maintain positive relationships with participating schools
* Monitor and evaluate the success of the program and make changes as necessary
Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in Physical Education, Sports Science, or a related field
* Minimum of 3 years of experience in coaching or teaching
* Expert knowledge of gymnastics skills and techniques preferred but not essential
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to motivate and inspire participants and staff
* Strong organizational and planning skills
