Job Title: Civil Infrastructure Professional
We are seeking a highly skilled Civil Infrastructure Professional to join our team. As a key member of our infrastructure team, you will be responsible for managing site engineers and supporting the Site Agent and supervisors with the day-to-day running of the site. You will also be responsible for ensuring the quality control and compliance procedures are adhered to.
Responsibilities:
* Manage site engineers and support the Site Agent and supervisors with the day-to-day running of the site.
* Ensure the quality control and compliance procedures are adhered to.
* Take a proactive approach to resolving any unexpected technical difficulties and other problems that may arise.
* Provide engineering support to ensure technical problems are overcome and technical queries are answered.
* Liaise with clients and carrying out site investigations.
* Coordinating with engineers, subcontractors, and other parties involved in the construction project to ensure that all work is completed according to specifications.
* Ensuring that health and safety and sustainability policies and legislation are adhered to.
Requirements:
* Educated to degree standard in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
* Demonstrable 5 years experience of being part of a large-scale infrastructure programme of work ideally within the water sector.
* Able to plan ahead and effectively delegate tasks to the engineering team.
* Sound knowledge of the latest building regulations, legislation and Health and Safety.
* Working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages.
* Full driving licence essential.
* Good communication skills (verbal and written) and able to engage with all stakeholders at all levels.
* Excellent attention to detail and meticulous planning and organisational skills.
