Job Overview:
We are seeking a seasoned finance professional to join our team as a Senior Finance Manager.
This role is critical to the success of our financial operations and will require the successful candidate to have a strong understanding of financial reporting, statutory accounts, group reporting, and financial planning.
* Key Responsibilities Include:
Financial Reporting: Ensure timely and accurate delivery of monthly, quarterly, and annual close reports to stakeholders. Deliver management and group reporting that meets regulatory requirements.
Statutory Accounts & Audit: Prepare Irish statutory financial statements (FRS or IFRS) with supporting schedules. Collaborate with external auditors to ensure compliance.
Group Reporting & Consolidation: Align local ledgers with U.S. HQ reporting standards. Ensure seamless consolidation of financial data.
Financial Planning & Analysis: Develop, review, and finalize internal/external financial management reports. Provide actionable insights to drive business growth.
Tax Compliance: Oversee direct and indirect taxes, including corporation tax, VAT, and payroll taxes. Work closely with advisors and Group Tax to ensure compliance.
SOX & Financial Controls: Own local SOX narratives, walkthroughs, and testing. Embed robust financial controls to prevent financial misstatement.
Intercompany & Transfer Pricing: Manage cross-border recharges, reconcile intercompany balances, and support OECD BEPS-aligned TP documentation. Foster collaborative relationships with internal stakeholders.
Treasury & FX: Lead cash forecasting, liquidity management, and FX remeasurement/hedge documentation. Ensure alignment with Group Treasury policy.
Payroll Oversight: Coordinate with HR/providers to ensure PAYE Modernisation compliance. Ensure accurate processing of payroll and benefits.
Compliance & Data Governance: Embed GDPR-aligned finance data controls and retention policies. Foster a culture of compliance across the organization.
ESG/CSRD Readiness: Partner with Sustainability/Legal on EU CSRD requirements. Drive ESG initiatives to enhance organizational sustainability.
Project Management: Lead finance projects and process improvements. Utilize project management methodologies to deliver results-oriented outcomes.
Commercial Partnering: Provide finance input on contracts, pricing/promotions, ROI analyses, and vendor negotiations. Foster collaborative relationships with commercial teams.
Requirements:
* Qualified accountant (ACA, CIMA, ACCA, or equivalent) with at least 3 years of post-qualification experience.
* Strong understanding of US GAAP & IFRS.
* Working knowledge of local R&D grants and tax credits.
* Proficiency in financial systems, including Oracle and Blackline.
* Ability to leverage automation technologies such as Artificial Intelligence (AI), Robotic Process Automation (RPA), and Alteryx.
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
