**Job Opportunity: CNC Machinist**
We are seeking an experienced CNC machinist to join our team. This is a permanent, full-time position that will involve operating CNC machinery to roll, cut, or shape steel according to production requirements.
The ideal candidate will have 12+ years' experience operating CNC machinery, preferably in steel/metal fabrication. They will also have strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving ability, as well as the ability to read and understand technical drawings.
The successful candidate will play a key role in the production of high-quality steel components used in structural frames and buildings. They will be responsible for monitoring CNC performance and making necessary adjustments to maintain accuracy and quality.
Key responsibilities include:
* Operating CNC machinery to roll, cut, or shape steel according to production requirements.
* Monitoring CNC performance and making necessary adjustments to maintain accuracy and quality.
* Loading and unloading steel materials safely and efficiently.
* Reading and interpreting technical drawings, cutting lists, and production schedules.
* Setting up machine parameters, tooling, and fixtures for each production job.
* Performing basic troubleshooting and adjustments during operation.
* Inspecting finished components to ensure they meet required specifications.
