We’re excited to invite you to lead our Microbiology Quality Control team at our cutting-edge biologics facility in Dunboyne, Co. Meath. This role is perfect for someone passionate about people leadership and quality excellence in a dynamic laboratory environment.

Bring Energy, Knowledge, Innovation To Carry Out The Following

* Lead and support the Microbiology laboratory team, guiding key activities like laboratory start-up, new product introduction, and quality control testing.
* Drive technical transfers, including method validation, contamination control, aseptic training, environmental monitoring, and product testing.
* Inspire and align your team with the company’s vision and goals.
* Foster collaboration, teamwork, and a culture of continuous improvement.
* Coach and mentor your team through complex challenges and problem-solving.
* Champion lean methodologies and change management to enhance processes.
* Promote a culture of safety where everyone takes ownership.
* Ensure quality compliance by embedding a “right first time” mindset.

What Skills You Will Need

In order to excel in this role, you will more than likely have:

* A degree in Science, Quality, or a related technical field.
* Experience in biotechnology or pharmaceutical industries with proven leadership in managing teams and laboratories.
* Strong knowledge of current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP), global regulations, and quality systems.
* Excellent communication skills to engage with stakeholders at all levels.
* Proactive, flexible, and logical thinking with the ability to thrive under pressure.
* A continuous improvement mindset with the ability to manage priorities and escalate issues when needed.
* Familiarity with quality management tools, process controls, and improvement methodologies such as Six Sigma.
