Litigation Assistant / Paralegal, Belfast, Up to £30k

Pathway Recruitment is delighted to be working with a highly regarded specialist law firm based in Belfast city centre, renowned for its expertise across a broad range of litigation matters including road traffic accidents, hearing loss claims, and personal injury cases.
This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious career paralegal seeking to further develop their litigation experience within a busy and supportive legal environment. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting solicitors across a high-volume caseload while gaining exposure to complex and varied litigation matters.
Key Responsibilities
Case and File Management
Assisting solicitors with the day-to-day management of litigation files Preparing legal documentation and correspondence Opening and maintaining client files accurately and efficiently Reviewing and organising medical records and other case-related documentation Client and Clinic Coordination
Setting up and coordinating hearing loss clinics Liaising with clients, medical professionals, and third-party providers Scheduling appointments and ensuring all supporting documentation is prepared in advance Legal and Administrative Support
Conducting legal research where required Managing diaries, deadlines, and court-related documentation Supporting solicitors with case progression from inception to resolution Essential Skills and Experience
Previous experience working as a litigation paralegal or legal assistant Strong interest in developing a long-term career within litigation Excellent organisational skills with strong attention to detail Experience handling medical records or personal injury-related files would be advantageous Strong communication skills and professional client manner Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced legal environment What’s on Offer
