Job Description:

Our client is a large multinational engineering consultancy working in highway, public realm, and transportation sectors.
The project involves providing technical advice and services related to highway infrastructure operations and maintenance, including:
1. Contract management and performance monitoring, including audits of tunnel systems and MTCC operations.
2. Development and management of contract variations for tunnel lifecycle upgrades.
3. PPP contract administration and compliance audits.
4. Advice on NEC3 and other contracts related to tunnels and service areas.
5. Monitoring compliance with Tunnel Safety Directive across the national network.
6. Project and programme management services for client schemes.
7. Additional ad hoc advisory services as needed.
The candidate will be part of a small core team, collaborating with specialists from various disciplines. Ideal candidates will have experience in contract administration, project management, and the highway or transportation industry. Strong communication skills, ability to work independently, and experience working with contractors and clients are essential.
Responsibilities include supporting project delivery, contract management, reporting, stakeholder liaison, and mentoring junior team members.
Minimum Requirements:
* Degree in civil, structural, mechanical, or electrical engineering recognized by QQI or equivalent.
* At least 5 years of post-graduate experience with infrastructure projects.
* Experience in tunnelling and infrastructure facilities management is preferred.
* Excellent communication and meeting chairing skills.
* Strong analytical, organizational, and resource management skills.
* Proficiency with Microsoft Project, Excel, and Word.
* Ability to manage resources, prioritize tasks, and work independently.
* Good interpersonal skills and stakeholder engagement experience.
Desirable but not essential:
* Experience with infrastructure O&M schemes.
* Knowledge of ITS schemes and modern procurement techniques.
* Familiarity with PPP contracts and NEC3 mechanisms.
* Understanding of highway standards including DMRB.
