Clanmil Housing is one of the largest housing associations in Northern Ireland, proud to provide high-quality mixed tenure homes that deliver a sense of belonging, safe and connected communities, and somewhere where everyone is proud to live and raise their families.
The organisation is hugely ambitious and has significant plans for further growth.
The Board has a vital leadership role in ensuring Clanmil is best positioned to deliver on its ambitious strategic plan in the years ahead.
There are many opportunities along with some challenges that will present over the coming years: digitalisation; decarbonisation; building new homes fit for the future; and ensuring safety, wellbeing, and neighbourhood cohesion alongside their tenacity to get best value from everything they do.
Clanmil are seeking to make two new Board appointments as part of the Board renewal process over the next two years and are seeking expressions of interest from candidates with expertise in Legal (to commence September 2025) and Sustainability/ Net Zero (to commence February 2026).
Legal: Clanmil work with a range of partners and legal advisors to deliver against their strategic plan and development targets.
Specific construction or development experience is not necessary for this role, instead this Board member will provide broad legal experience and insight to Board debate, with the ability to effectively contribute across a diverse range of issues at Board level.
While these Board member roles are non-remunerated, they present the opportunity to make a huge societal impact which should prove to be immensely rewarding.
