This role provides an opportunity to work in a fast-paced, evolving environment, offering significant growth potential in the aviation industry.Reporting to the Check Supervisor, the Aircraft Composite Mechanic is responsible for the following duties:Key Accountabilities And ResponsibilitiesResponsible for organising and evaluating repairs.Carry out composite repairs in accordance with approved maintenance data.Ensuring aircraft documentation is completed in accordance with the MOE and company procedures.Ordering & progressing spares.Maintain a high standard of work in all tasks.Follow company procedures, regulations and policies.Ensuring the work area and environment is safe, clean and tidy at all timesAssist with developing skills of composite staffAssist with other zones as and when requiredMaintain awareness and ensure best practises are observed for Health and Safety and Human Factors.Responsible for maintaining a safe and clean work environment at all times.Adherence to all company procedures, regulations, and safe working practicesCarry out any other tasks as reasonably required by the Check/Zone Supervisor.RequirementsMRO composite repair workshop/hangar environment preferredFully conversant with use of hot bond equipment (Heatcon)Conversant with handling and storage of all composite materialsMetal bond experience essential, flight control surface and nacelle experience desirableFibreglass & Carbon wet layup repair experience essentialFibreglass & Carbon pre-impregnated repair experience essentialExperienced in Inspection and creation of work cards /work packs essentialExcellent spoken and written English is essentialWilling to work shifts (including nights)Flexible approach to working in a fast-changing environmentAll applicants must have an unrestricted right to work in Ireland to take up this position.On The Job Training (OJT) RequirementsThe successful candidate will be required to spend time on OJT at one of our other bases as follows:Experienced 145 MRO composite technician – 1 month OJT in Prestwick or Kaunas.OrExperienced manufacturing composite laminator – 6 months OJT in Prestwick or Kaunas.BenefitsBike to Work SchemeFree onsite parkingThis role offers a competitive salary and friendly working environment with the opportunity to grow and develop your career within the aviation industry.Competencies
