Job Title: Customer Executive - Commercial
Job Overview
This role will deliver consistent, high-quality commercial support across all customer channels within a shared service model. The role ensures accurate execution of pricing, promotions, forecasting, invoicing, and customer data management, while supporting internal and external stakeholders and maintaining strong commercial governance and operational efficiency.
What You’ll Be Doing
Manage pricing uploads, promotional setup, and activation in systems like Xtel, ensuring alignment with account plans.
Process invoices, rebates, and claims accurately and on time, maintaining trackers and liaising with AR teams.
Support quarterly forecasting cycles and complete month-end close responsibilities in line with commercial timelines.
Maintain accurate customer, product, and pricing data across internal systems and external portals.
Apply validation checks, request supporting documentation, and update portals to resolve credit claims efficiently.
Prepare and review commercial reports (e.g. OOS, LTD, Price Index) to support decision‑making and performance tracking.
Work cross‑functionally with account managers, finance, supply chain, and field sales to ensure smooth execution of tasks.
Frequent use of portals such as Shoplink, Tesco Connect, and customer‑specific systems for pricing, product, and promotional updates.
Ownership of trackers and data accuracy to support commercial reporting and forecasting.
Support for field sales and supply chain coordination where relevant to product availability and promotional execution.
Support chilled equipment and technical asset processes including placement tracking, query resolution, and coordination with internal and external stakeholders.
Cross‑functional collaboration with finance, technical, and supply chain teams.
What We’re Looking For
Experience working with commercial systems and customer portals (e.g. Xtel, Shoplink, Tesco Connect, Ariba) or the ability to learn quickly.
Strong organisational and time‑management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
Confidence working with data, reports, pricing, promotions, and financial documentation.
A collaborative mindset, comfortable working within a shared service structure across multiple customer channels.
Strong forecasting discipline and redemption rate tracking.
Experience with Portal updates for pricing, SKUs, and allergen/nutritional data.
Daily management of journey planners and supplier PO coordination.
Support for monthly meetings and brand performance tracking.
Education / Qualifications
Educated to A-Level / Leaving Certificate standard, or equivalent experience within a commercial or sales support environment.
