Description
* Receiving and analysing the short & medium-term sales requirements from the European & US branches
* Receiving and analysing the short & medium-term supply estimates from the growers
* Balancing demand and supply for the short, medium term and long term
* Managing Global Demand / Promotion requests through SAC
* Managing Growers estimates with the desk in Costa Rica
* Managing shortages and over-supply from source
* Daily dialogue with sourcing team, branches and line manager
* Weekly managing and reporting SKUs updates with Material team.
* Producing weekly loading plan
Profile
A successful Material Demand Planner should have:
* A degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field.
* Proven experience in a procurement and supply chain role within the FMCG industry.
* Fresh Produce/Food industry
* Logistics / Planning / Allocation experience
* Excellent problem-solving abilities and a strategic approach to work.
* Strong negotiation skills and the ability to build relationships with suppliers.
* 2nd language not required however Spanish is advantageous
