Job Description
We are seeking a Reliability Engineer for an 11-month contract with our client in Tipperary.
This is a full-time, on-site role within the Engineering Centre of Excellence (C0E).
The Reliability Engineer will work closely with colleagues in Maintenance, Integrated Production Team, Projects & relevant departments, and vendors.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop the Planned and Predictive Maintenance (PPM) system, including writing job plans and assigning maintenance frequencies (SAP & Procal).
* Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for compliance in the Engineering Department.
* Support the implementation of maintenance best practice methodologies/technologies, including Lean Six Sigma processes.
* Lead equipment criticality assessments to develop new maintenance strategies/plans for new assets.
* Develop a multi-year Reliability roadmap and execute it with close collaboration/partnership with key cross-functional stakeholders.
* Lead technical Root Cause Analysis events and incident investigations related to manufacturing equipment/systems to prevent recurrence of asset or process failures.
Requirements:
* Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in a relevant Engineering or Technical discipline or a trade qualification with relevant experience working in a similar environment.
* At least 3 years' experience working in a similar role, preferably in manufacturing GMP with a strong compliance mindset.
* Knowledge of GMP/EHS guidelines & Legislation, Plant Maintenance systems (e.g. SAP/Procal).
* Experience/proficiency in document management systems and office applications.
* Knowledge and experience of Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS), ideally SAP & Procal.
* Understanding of continuous improvement tools and reliability methodologies; RCA, FMECA, RBAM, 8-step problem solving etc.
* Knowledge of maintenance systems, techniques (e.g. preventative & predictive maintenance CBM) and their applications.
