We are currently recruiting for a Sales Executive at The Lough Rea Hotel & Spa.
The Role:
Responsible for managing reservations efficiently, providing excellent customer service, and ensuring a smooth booking experience.
Reporting to:
The Sales Administrator will report directly to The Wedding & Sales Manager.
The Ideal Person:
The ideal Reservations Executive is self-motivated, organised, and able to prioritise tasks effectively. They possess excellent customer service skills and a good understanding of the hospitality industry. Familiarity with Opera is a plus.
Responsibilities
* Manage telephone and email enquiries
* Identify new contacts, develop sales leads, and respond to sales opportunities in order to maximise revenue
* Produce quotations and written confirmation to all clients
* To ensure that all business leads and opportunities are followed up in a timely manner including enquiries and provisional bookings.
* Ensure bookings are guaranteed and no show charges/late cancellation charges are applied where appropriate
* To deal with all clients in a professional and friendly manner
* Use of onsite computer systems including Opera
* Liaise regularly with relevant managers in relation to reservations

The Ideal Candidate:
* Previous hotel experience
* Experience of hotel PMS Systems with Hotsoft an advantage
* Be able to maximise revenue by converting enquiries, recognising business prospects and upselling
* Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
* Good time management skills
* Be able to work in a high-pressured environment whilst maintaining a positive attitude
* A highly organised person with the ability to prioritise and multitask
