About the Job
As a skilled maintenance professional, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities.
This role is part of our engineering and technical services team, working closely with other professionals to provide top-notch support and maintenance services.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical and electrical systems, with experience in performing routine maintenance tasks and troubleshooting complex issues.
* Perform ongoing preventive maintenance and repairs on mechanical, electrical, and other building systems.
* Conduct routine maintenance inspections, diagnose potential problems, and make repairs as needed.
* Assist with the installation and modification of building equipment and systems, ensuring all work is done efficiently and effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
* Review assigned work orders and partner with other teams to track completion and ensure seamless delivery of services.
* Support energy management by ensuring all building systems are operating at optimal levels.
* Inspect existing installations for compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.
Requirements:
* Third-level or trade qualification with 1-2 years of job-related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
* Meet the physical requirements of this role, including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and lifting/carrying heavy loads (up to 50 lbs).
* Ability to follow established procedures and protocols, with a focus on attention to detail and quality of work.
* Strong communication and organizational skills, with ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Preferred Qualifications:
* Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and other relevant software.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to identify and troubleshoot complex issues.
