The successful candidate will need to have good work ethic as well as a hands-on approach.Duties Include (but are not limited to)Hygiene and cleanliness of food preparation areasFood serving and basic cleaning tasksOrganise food preparation areas and adhere to all food safety proceduresEnsure facilities are replenished and tidy as you go throughout serviceSupport service to residents in a timely and professional fashionBe prepared to carry out any additional duties outside of general dutiesTo follow the agreed HACCP standards and proceduresCompletion of daily records (cleaning/food safety)Be approachable as well as a customer service orientedHave the ability to multitask in a fast faced working environmentRequirementsPrevious catering experience in a nursing home setting or similar role an advantageStrong customer service skills, awareness & sensitivity towards residentsExcellent interpersonal and communication skillsHACCP training would be a distinct advantageCandidate must be available for flexible working hoursAbility to work as part of a team as well as using own initiative
