About the Role:
We're working with a well-established accountancy practice in Dublin who are seeking a motivated Practice Accountant to join their growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to take the next step in their audit career with clear progression opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage and support a portfolio of practice clients, ensuring all deadlines and deliverables are met
* Prepare and review
year-end accounts, management accounts, budgets, and forecasts
* Act as a key point of contact for clients, building strong working relationships
* Deliver client work end to end, on time and within budget, coordinating with other teams as required
* Handle technical accounting matters, finalise accounts, and respond to client queries
* Support advisory and project work where required
* Maintain up-to-date knowledge of
Irish GAAP
, particularly
FRS 102 (Section 1A)
* Assist with proposals and new client work as needed
Your Experience
* ACCA or ACA qualified
* Minimum
3 years' Irish practice experience
* Strong exposure to
Irish GAAP / FRS 102
and statutory accounts
* Experience working with
SME clients
in a practice environment
* Comfortable managing deadlines, client queries, and end-to-end assignments
