Care Manager Galway
We are seeking an exceptional Care Manager to assist in growing and managing a team of motivated, compassionate Carers in your assigned area. You will be fully supported by our Support Centre.

Key Responsibilities
">
">
* Manage carer on-boarding, carer rosters, carer training/development and overall carer welfare with the support of your Regional Manager and Support Office.
">
* Deliver 20-hour Carer Induction Training ensuring Carers are sufficiently prepared and trained in advance of providing care to all clients in your assigned area.
">
* Monitor daily activities using One Touch Care Management software, with a strong emphasis on safeguarding and compliance at every level. Take any action required under your remit and escalate as needed.
">
* Communicate closely with the Support Office regarding Scheduling runs, Client Care and HSE communication using One Touch Care Management Software.
">
* Take responsibility for identifying, monitoring and managing training needs within your team, by implementing a career development path in line with our HR strategy.
">
* Ensure Client Quality Assurance reviews are carried out and recorded in line with Homecare and HSE Standards.
">
* Be flexible and take responsibility for all reasonable duties that support the provision of the highest level of care.
">

Required Skills and Qualifications
">
Qualifications: QQI Level 6 Health Services Supervisory Management Skills (or higher)
">
Experience: In the Home Care or Community Care Sector in a Supervisory or Management role
">
Software Skills: Experience in using One Touch Care Management software is preferable
">
Interpersonal Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
">
Organisational Skills: Well organised and process driven
">
Time Management: Effective time management skills
