About the Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a talented Automation Engineer to join a major System Integrator on a long-term secondment based onsite with a leading client in Kildare.

You will be responsible for supporting, developing, and optimizing automation systems within a highly automated manufacturing or process environment, with a focus on Allen?
Bradley control platforms.
Key Responsibilities
Provide onsite support for control and automation systems, ensuring maximum equipment uptime.
Develop, modify, and troubleshoot Allen?
Bradley PLCs, HMIs, and SCADA systems.
Participate in system upgrades, integration projects, and commissioning activities.
Collaborate closely with production, maintenance, and project teams to deliver reliable solutions.
Maintain control system documentation and ensure compliance with site and safety standards.
Contribute to continuous improvement and operational excellence initiatives.
Requirements
2–3 years' experience as an Automation or Controls Engineer in a manufacturing or process environment.
Proven hands-on experience with Allen?
Bradley PLCs (ControlLogix, CompactLogix), FactoryTalk View or related systems.
Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills within automation environments.
Degree or Diploma in Electrical, Mechatronic, or Automation Engineering (or equivalent practical experience).
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Eligible to work full-time in Ireland and available for on-site work in Kildare.
A Valid Irish/EU work permit
