Key responsibilities
Management of packaging life cycle, including code creation, packaging workflow approvals in SAP, process governance and fostering strong collaboration with suppliersManage the technical relationship with our suppliers and assist with RD&A engagement when working on maintenance and new sourcing needsSupport new packaging code setup by collecting required documentation and coordinating technical details from suppliersLead efforts in standardisation of specifications, descriptions and codes in the areaWork with buyers in category rationalisation / consolidation efforts, acting as the technical lead for the activityMaintain awareness of technical developments and industry trendsProvide strategic packaging insights, solutions, trends and new technologies to support our sustainability, continuous improvement and cost-saving targetsAssist the RD&A, Category and Integrated Operations teams with day-to-day packaging technical queriesProvide hands-on support to RD&A and site teams to validate new packaging formats and technologies
Qualifications and skills
Bachelor's Degree in Packaging Engineering, Material Science, Chemical or Mechanical Engineering, or related Science field is desiredExperience in the Food industry, within the Packaging or Supply Chain functions is preferredMust have strong project management skillsMust have strong interpersonal and communication skillsMust have strong technical and problem-solving skillsMust be flexible to travel within Europe when project needs dictateMust be able to adapt to an evolving and fast-paced environment
