Electrical & Instrumentation Engineer Role
As a Principal Electrical and Instrumentation Engineer, you will lead the site's instrumentation and calibration programs, ensuring readiness for regulatory inspections. You will act as a subject matter expert during audits and liaise with health and regulatory authorities.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and implement site calibration programs, focusing on reliability improvements and equipment maintenance.
* Provide technical guidance and training to the maintenance team, supporting their growth and development.
* Design and develop SOPs, calibration standards, and measurement of uncertainty programs, ensuring compliance with international engineering standards (ISA, IEC, ISO).
* Analyze predictive and condition-based monitoring data to drive continuous improvement, identifying opportunities for process optimization.
* Support equipment selection for capital and replacement projects, considering factors such as cost-effectiveness, efficiency, and sustainability.
Requirements:
* Hold a degree in Electrical and Instrumentation Engineering or a related field.
* Have 5+ years of experience in a maintenance or engineering role, preferably within a regulated industry (pharma, biotech, med device, etc.).
* Possess strong knowledge of calibration methodologies and instrumentation systems, with a focus on reliability engineering and root cause analysis.
* Demonstrate excellent communication skills, with the ability to influence and lead change within a team environment.
