Our client,
one of Ireland’s largest contractors are seeking a Mechanical Supervisorto join their team in Limerick for a healthcare project.
The successful candidate will be reporting directly into the sites Building Services Manager.
Responsibilities:
1. Overseeing Installations: Supervising the installation of mechanical systems.
2. Managing Crew: Leading and managing a team of mechanical sub-contractors.
3. Quality Control: Conducting inspections and quality checks on installed mechanical systems to verify they meet regulatory requirements and project standards.
4. Coordination: Coordinating with other trades and departments (e.g., electrical, civil) to ensure smooth integration of mechanical systems with overall construction progress.
5. Documentation and Reporting: Maintaining accurate records of work progress, materials used, and any issues encountered. Providing regular reports to project managers on status and any deviations from plans.

Requirements
11. BEng in Mechanical Engineering or relevant Trade qualification.
12. 4 years’+ experience in a supervisor role.
13. Experience working on Hospital projects would be beneficial.
14. Strong organisational and interpersonal skills.
15. IT Skills – Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat Pro.
