Position Overview
Software Development Manager (Content Engineering – Iceberg Platform) based in Dublin, Ireland, with expectation to be in office twice per week.
Responsibilities
Lead the technical vision for data pipelines powering Clio's core AI products.
Collaborate with the Design + Product + Development Manager triad to understand business challenges and craft team roadmaps.
Design and review architectural solutions, providing feedback on code and documentation.
Actively contribute to code delivery through reviews and shipping code.
Conduct one-on-one meetings with direct reports to support career growth.
Participate in hiring and onboarding of engineering talent.
Assist other teams with technical questions on specific technologies or patterns.
Qualifications
Proven people-leadership experience in software development, preferably with large-scale SaaS products.
Deep technical expertise in data engineering and building/scaling complex data transformation pipelines and agentic AI architectures.
Strong hands-on software development background.
Capacity to explain successful projects and lessons learned from failures.
Growth mindset toward process improvement and emerging technologies, especially AI.
Proven hiring skills and ability to coach, develop, and retain engineering talent.
Strong, constructively-held opinions and a culture of honest, actionable feedback.
Bonus: philosophy on building great software development teams; experience with CRM products at scale; experience with Ruby on Rails or Python.
Compensation & Benefits
Competitive salary ranging from €111,400 to €167,200 EUR, with separate bands for other regions.
