DescriptionThe Commercial Capital Delivery Project Manager is integral to enabling the expansion and future revenue growth for the Commercial capital development portfolio at Dublin Airport. As a key member of the Commercial team this role will manage the delivery of the Commercial Capital Investment Programme (CIP) both with respect to future planning through the capital planning process together with the management of the delivery of the existing and future commercial CIP plans.ResponsibilitiesAs Commercial Capital Project Manager, the principal responsibilities of the role include:Project Manage the Commercial Capital Investment Programme (CIP)Manage the delivery of the Commercial CIP portfolio of projects of c.€300+m ensuring projects are delivered on time and to the specifications and requirement of the business. Examples include Lounge and Fastrack upgradesPoint of contact for Commercial on all capital development projects. Co-ordination of various stakeholder groups including Capital Development, Airport Transformation Team, Infrastructure and Commercial Business Owner to support projects from concept inception through feasibility, design and delivery.Develop detailed portfolio management and reporting tools, together with detailed individual project plans focusing on the Commercial responsibilities around performance metrics, risk analysis and reporting to monitor and track delivery progress against key milestones and timelinesDevelop strong professional relationships and ways of working with Commercial Dept. Heads, Infrastructure, Capital Planning motivating and delivering results from cross functional teamsResponsible for weekly and monthly reporting on individual projects and portfolio progress, escalating challenge and risks into the senior commercial management teamLead in the preparation and delivery of reports and updates to Management and provide strong representation of the Commercial agenda in cross functional project update meetingsGovernance & ApprovalProvide guidance and clarity to Commercial Business Owners together with comprehensive direction on the inputs, requirements and sequencing of various stakeholder and management approvals to progress projects through the daa internal capital governance process ensuring projects progress through the various checkpoints at paceProvide commercial oversight during the design development and construction phase of the projectsFuture Commercial Capital Investment ProgrammeEnsure strategic alignment of the commercial capital investment objectives with Airport Masterplan, Corporate Strategy and Regulatory Determination (e.g. CIP / RAB).Lead and represent Commercial with respect to the future Capital Investment Programme, co-ordinating requirements and ensuring delivery as per the spec defined in the project charter and communicate and escalate any programme and or project risks between the Business Owners and the Capital Planning Team, translating passenger, airline and non-aeronautical revenue forecasts into Commercial capital investment requirementsWork closely with the Commercial Business Owners to define the scope, capacity and functional requirement for each of the Commercial CIP projects and ensure supporting business case development outputs are delivered on timeLead on the co-ordination of all regulatory and stakeholder engagement OtherSupport the Commercial Revenue, Growth & Development with project management of other Commercial delivery projectsQualificationsExperienceMinimum 5 years' experience in construction project management or infrastructure delivery Strong experience in operating in a complex stakeholder driven organization with a proven track record of managing the capital delivery of a portfolio of large scale and complex projectsTrack record of delivering construction delivery projects to timelines and to the specifications and requirements of the clientAn in-depth understanding of, and a passion for, capital infrastructure project management with Airport experience an advantageTangible experience of documenting best practice construction project management policies and standardsA high level of technical competence and experience across Commercial and business activitiesTrack record of leading multiple, diverse teams working concurrently across a diverse portfolioExperience of dealing with a range of stakeholders at all levels across the organisation influencing the improvement of process and guidance to support project deliverySkillsLeadership and people management experience with strong influencing skills with the ability and proven experience in working successfully with multiple stakeholdersStrong communication and interpersonal skills with ability to communicate at all levels with the organisation across all communication methodsA critical thinker and adept at distilling complex problems and solutions into simple conceptsCommercially driven with strong business acumenBe responsible and ensure accountability for workSelf-starter that is Results orientated Knowledge of construction, engineering and project management project delivery principlesProject management experience and qualifications.
