We are looking for a highly strategic and results-driven Director of Strategy & Project Management to join our executive team. This is a pivotal role that will define the company's long-term vision and ensure its successful execution. You will be responsible for developing the overall corporate strategy, leading high-impact strategic projects, and managing the entire project portfolio from conception to delivery. You will act as the key link between our long-term goals and our day-to-day operational excellence, ensuring all projects align with our brand promise and financial objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Planning & Development:
* Lead the development, communication, and implementation of the company's 3-5 year strategic plan.
* Conduct comprehensive market research, competitive analysis, and trend forecasting to identify new opportunities for growth in the hospitality and tourism sector.
* Analyze company performance data to evaluate strategic initiatives and recommend corrective actions.
* Drive the exploration and assessment of new business ventures, partnerships, and market expansions.
* Facilitate strategic planning sessions with the executive team and key stakeholders.
Overall Project Management:
* Own and manage the company's entire project portfolio, prioritizing initiatives based on strategic alignment and ROI.
* Define project scope, goals, deliverables, and success criteria in collaboration with senior management.
* Develop and maintain detailed project plans, budgets, and timelines.
* Lead and mentor cross-functional project teams (including Operations, Marketing, Sales, and Product Development).
* Implement and champion best-practice project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall) across the organization.
Operational Execution & Leadership:
* Monitor and report on the progress of all major strategic projects to the leadership team and stakeholders.
* Proactively identify and mitigate project risks, issues, and dependencies.
* Ensure all projects are delivered on-time, within scope, and on-budget.
* Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
* Oversee the integration of new projects and services into our core operations seamlessly.
Qualifications & Experience
* Essential: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, Tourism, or a related field.
* Preferred: Master's degree (e.g., MBA) or relevant professional certifications (e.g., PMP - Project Management Professional).
* A minimum of 8-10 years of progressive experience in a strategic role, with at least 5 years in a leadership/management capacity within the hospitality, tourism, or travel technology sector.
* Proven track record of developing and successfully implementing corporate-level strategies that resulted in measurable business growth.
* Extensive experience managing a complex portfolio of projects from initiation to closure, with demonstrable success in delivering large-scale initiatives.
* Experience in budget management and financial forecasting for projects and strategic plans.
