Social Care Worker - Kildare New
We are actively recruiting experienced professionals to join a team of social and care staff in supporting adults toward independent living and community integration.
The ideal candidate will have a strong working knowledge of legislation protecting vulnerable adults, effective interpersonal and communication skills, and proficiency in IT applications including Microsoft Office Excel, Word, SharePoint, OneDrive, and Teams.
Responsibilities:
- Support individuals with physical / intellectual disabilities, autism, and other support needs to live an ordinary life in a community-based environment.
- Work across 12 residential communities and 4-day services nationwide to offer person-centred care that transforms lives.
Requirements:
* A minimum of a Level 7 on the QQI Framework – BA in Social Care Studies or equivalent qualification in Health or Social Care.
* 1 year's experience of working with vulnerable adults or adults with intellectual disabilities.
* Experience working with challenging behaviours.
* Strong working knowledge of legislation in place to protect vulnerable adults.
* A full, clean manual driver's license and availability of own car for this post.
