Job Description
A Sales Manager – Ireland is required by our client - a global company and leading provider of electrical safety solutions, specialising in monitoring systems for high reliability electrical installations and equipment. This is a technical sales role that requires a desire to develop a detailed knowledge of our clients products and how they meet customers' needs. Remote working role.
Role of this position
1. Ownership of an existing sales pipeline within the region and develop future business in line with budgeted volume and profit targets.
2. Responsibility for managing relationships and securing sales of electrical power products, designed to enhance electrical safety and reliability, with both existing and new customers.
3. Achieve budgeted volumes and margins for electrical safety products, including insulation monitoring devices, residual current monitors, and medical power supplies
4. Maintain accurate account files within a CRM system and manage administrative tasks effectively within deadlines.
5. Manage and report on an ongoing sales pipeline via the CRM system, identifying and communicating any risks or new opportunities.
6. Conduct regular analysis of competitor activity within the healthcare sector and report findings to the business.
7. Regularly network and attend trade shows to develop a new business pipeline focused on healthcare solutions.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
8. Proven experience of working in technical sales, preferably in the healthcare sector
9. Experience of the electrical industry and knowledge of basic power system principles would be advantageous.
10. Technical / trades qualification in Electrical Engineering or similar discipline.
11. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
12. Self-motivated with a results-driven approach.
13. Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
14. Valid driver's license and willingness to travel throughout Ireland
