As a Warehouse Manager at Supply Technologies, you will play a crucial role in overseeing all warehouse operations to ensure efficiency, accuracy, and timely delivery of goods. You will lead a team and work closely with other departments to maintain inventory levels, optimise storage space, and uphold safety standards within the warehouse facility.
Responsibilities
Manage and coordinate all warehouse activities, including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping of products.
Develop and implement efficient warehouse processes to increase productivity and reduce costs.
Monitor inventory levels and reconcile discrepancies to ensure accurate stock management.
Supervise warehouse staff, providing guidance, training, and support to maintain a high-performing team.
Collaborate with the logistics team to coordinate transportation and delivery schedules.
Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment in compliance with company policies and safety regulations.
Identify areas for improvement and implement solutions to streamline warehouse operations.
Other tasks as assigned by the managers.
Requirements
Proven experience in warehouse management, including knowledge of inventory control, distribution, and logistics.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
Excellent organisational and problem-solving abilities.
Proficiency in warehouse management systems and MS Office applications.
Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in warehouse operations.
Effective communication skills to interact with internal teams and external partners.
Manages fleet of vehicles used for delivering to customer base.
Recruits, hires and trains new warehouse employees. Coaches, counsels, schedules and disciplines current warehouse employees as needed by enforcing policies and procedures.
Develops and implements effective warehouse layout that accounts for product flow, equipment and product handling equipment.
Establishes, follows and enforces safety standards and procedures in compliance with a healthy work environment and legal requirements.
