Clarity are currently recruiting for a Tissue Viability Nurse in the HSE in Dublin South East
The staff appointed to these posts will work within Primary Care in the PHN service; working as part of multi-disciplinary teams delivering a coordinated approach to client care. The TVN will be expected to maintain a high standard of nursing care, share responsibility with the community nursing team for managing nursing care and the patients’ environment, and uphold high professional and ethical standards.
The work base will be the Primary Care Centre. Care is delivered in the client’s home and in the clinic setting. Staff are eligible to claim travel allowance for work-related travel. The service operates Monday to Friday, 9am - 5pm.
Dublin South East Local Health Office serves communities including Sandymount, Ballsbridge, Ranelagh, Donnybrook, Milltown, Dundrum, Ballinteer, Sandyford, & Kilternan.
* The working week is negotiable for the right candidate.
* Standard hours are 9-5pm Mon-Fri. Weekends off, no late nights, promoting work-life balance.
* Rates and contract terms depend on HSE increments; qualification allowances will be considered.

Responsibilities include:
* Wound care management in clinic and domiciliary settings.
* Nursing assessments post-hospital discharge or GP referral.
* General nursing care for chronically ill or disabled patients.
* Working as part of the multidisciplinary team in the community.
The ideal candidate should have:
* NMBI registration in good standing (Decision Letters not accepted).
* Excellent wound care experience; previous TVN experience is desirable.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Community nursing experience (preferable but not essential).
* Onsite training and orientation will be provided.
* Driving license and own car are essential; candidates living nearby without a car will also be considered.
