Therapy Manager - Principal Social Worker
on behalf of a leading disability service providing clinical supports and residential services to children with complex disability needs and their families in Limerick.
The successful candidate is required to work as part of an Interdisciplinary Team that provide services to 0–18-year-old children and young persons with complex needs.
The candidates are also required to work in partnership with families within a family centred model.
Key Requirements
Minimum 5 years post-qualification experience in social work with significant paediatric/children's disability experience
Proven management or leadership experience in healthcare or disability services
Strong knowledge of children's disability services, multidisciplinary and interdisciplinary team working
Full Drivers Licence and use of own car
Permit to work in Ireland
Be self-motivated and willing to work as part of a team as well as on their own initiative.
Have an organisational commitment to lead through the Avista Core Values and vision.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Excellent organizational skills
The ability to successfully manage deadlines and teams.
A willingness to learn and develop professionally.
Experience in providing Clinical Supervision
Postgraduate qualification in management, leadership (Desirable)
Experience working within Children's Disability Network Teams or similar integrated service models (Desirable)
Knowledge of Policies and Procedures related to children's disability services (Desirable)
