Responsibilities of the Legal Bookkeeper Job include: You will play a pivotal role in managing the day-to-day bookkeeping tasks across multiple branches.
Your responsibilities will include ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards and Law Society regulations.
You will prepare VAT returns, process payroll, prepare management accounts, reconcile bank accounts, and maintain accurate records for audit purposes.

Assist in managing daily bookkeeping tasks across five branches Ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting and Law Society regulations Prepare and submit VAT returns in a timely manner Process payroll for staff, including payslips and deductions Prepare management accounts, including profit and loss statements and balance sheets Reconcile bank accounts regularly Maintain accurate records for audits and compliance purposes Requirements of the Legal Bookkeeper Job: The ideal candidate will bring previous experience in bookkeeping, with legal experience being a definite advantage.
You will have strong knowledge of accounting software (Keyhouse Sam Accounts Package) and Microsoft Office Suite.
Your excellent attention to detail, strong organisational skills, and ability to maintain accurate records for audits and compliance purposes will set you apart from other candidates.
