The Opportunity
As part of our SHEQ team, you will play a key role in promoting safe working practices, ensuring compliance with legislation, conducting site inspections, and supporting teams in maintaining our ISO-certified management systems.
What You Will Deliver
* Develop, implement, and monitor Health & Safety Plans, Risk Assessments, and Method Statements (RAMS).
* Conduct regular site inspections and audits, ensuring timely corrective actions.
* Provide health & safety advice and support to management, supervisors, and site teams.
* Deliver toolbox talks, safety inductions, and refresher training sessions.
* Liaise with external governing bodies and ensure compliance with NI and ROI regulations.
* Support environmental and quality initiatives under the company's ISO management system.
What You Bring
* NEBOSH National General Certificate (or equivalent Health & Safety qualification).
* Minimum 1 year's experience in a Health & Safety role, ideally within construction.
* Strong knowledge of NI and ROI health & safety legislation.
* Full, clean driving licence and willingness to travel between sites.
* Excellent communication, organisation, and reporting skills.
* Proactive, pragmatic approach with the ability to influence positive safety culture.
* Desirable: Membership of IOSH (TechIOSH or CertIOSH).
