Technical Support Specialist Opportunity
This is an exciting opportunity for a highly skilled Technical Support Specialist to join our team.
We are looking for an individual with extensive experience in technical support and customer liaison, who can provide expert guidance and assistance to our engineering team and clients.
The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating the day-to-day operations of the service department, providing technical support to field service engineers and customers, managing customer equipment breakdowns, and liaising with principal partners to source support, parts, and schematics.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in engineering or a related field, with a minimum of 5 years' experience in an engineering/manufacturing environment. Previous experience in a maintenance or service-focused role, along with excellent communication and team collaboration skills, is also essential.
The successful candidate will also have the ability to interpret engineering drawings and schematics, as well as manage calibration instruments and service documentation. Additionally, they will be required to update machinery records in our software management system and collaborate on service schedules.
Key Responsibilities:
