Next Ventures seeks an experienced Program Manager for a long term project based in Dublin, Ireland.
The client requires someone to work onsite in the Office in Dublin, two days per week.
The Program Manager is responsible for planning, executing, and tracking a program that consists of interrelated projects and dependencies.
Core responsibilities include:
Program Planning and Coordination: Define Program Plan, program objectives, set deadlines, assign responsibilities, and monitor progress across projects to ensure alignment with business goals.
Stakeholder Management: Communicate regularly with senior management, boards, and project teams, providing updates and facilitating strategic decisions.
Budget and Financial Oversight: Manage program budgets, control costs, and ensure programs deliver expected benefits and value.
Risk and Issue Management: Identify potential risks, implement mitigation strategies, and take corrective actions when necessary.
Team Leadership: Manage project managers and cross-functional teams, providing guidance, coaching, and motivation to achieve program objectives.
Change Management: Implement and oversee changes during the program lifecycle to maintain efficiency and effectiveness.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Leadership and Strategic Thinking: Ability to guide teams, make high-level decisions, and align projects with organizational strategy.
Project Management Expertise: Knowledge of project lifecycles, methodologies, and tools to manage multiple projects concurrently.
Financial and Risk Management Skills: Competence in budgeting, cost control, and risk mitigation.
Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Strong ability to liaise with stakeholders, teams, and executives.
Organizational and Analytical Skills: Efficiently manage resources, schedules, and program quality.
Technical Proficiency: Experience in managing Data Transformation/Migration Programs.
Ex: Teradata to BigQuery
Position Duration: 12 months (long term project).
