Do you want to work in the Charities sector ? Leading Irish Charity in the services sector require a Qualified Accountant to join their Head Office finance team. This is the number 2 finance role. Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will work as part of an experienced finance team. You will manage the month-end and year-end finance functions, including annual audit management, and support the Financial Controller through a time of strategic change and process improvement. Key Tasks will include: Month-end close process Preparation of monthly management accounts Budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis reporting Preparation of financial reports for funders CapEx reporting Compliance and internal controls Year-end audit preparations Supporting/supervising the finance team Liaison with budget holders Ideally, you will be a Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CPA) with 3 years + pqe; with strong financial & management accounting experience and exposure to process improvement and internal controls. Looking for someone with drive, energy and good interpersonal skills, who can lead a team and liaise confidently with non-finance staff. Understanding of SORP is an asset but not essential, an SME, charity /not-for-profit background preferred.
