This hybrid role offers flexibility to work virtually or from our Cork / Dublin offices. As an Associate Investment Consultant, you will be a key team member, playing a vital role in delivering high-quality servicing and investment advice to meet client expectations.

Our Investment Practice
The Investment Practice provides investment advice on strategy, asset allocation, manager selection, and monitoring. With a growing client base in Ireland, we offer exposure to diverse investment services from Cork or Dublin, covering a broad client portfolio.
Daily Responsibilities
* Support investment consultants by preparing client investment performance reports and supporting materials
* Assist in modelling and designing investment strategies for clients
* Conduct fund performance and manager research analysis
* Lead routine client projects independently and support project delivery
* Coordinate work and prepare materials for client meetings
* Perform asset liability modelling using proprietary tools
* Mentor and train Analysts to contribute to team success
* Build relationships across departments including Retirement, Administration, Marketing, UK Investment, Delegated Consulting, and Global Investment teams

Ideal Skills and Experience
* Degree in Actuarial, Financial Mathematics, Statistics, or equivalent
* Progress towards or hold a professional qualification (CFA or Actuarial)
* Willing to complete APA/QFA qualification
* Several years of financial services experience, preferably with a consulting, asset management, or banking firm advising pension schemes or institutional investors
* Experience with asset liability modelling and LDI strategies is advantageous
* Knowledge of investment strategy development for pension schemes and long-term investors
* Strong analytical, communication, and presentation skills
* Proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint
* Proactive, able to handle workload independently, and a team player
* Strong work ethic and ownership mindset
