Within our company's headquarters in Limerick, you will find over 70 support staff working across a variety of functions including Sales, Marketing, Finance, Customer Services, Purchasing, Human Resources and Logistics .
Role Overview As a Shop Area Sales Manager, you'll need plenty of energy, great ideas, and a good mix of ambition and character.
You are responsible for everything that happens within those sliding doors of the 8 shops in the South of the country (Location wise someone living in and around Limerick would be an ideal central point for these 8 shops).
As someone who leads by example, you'll take control when things get busy.
It's all about building a helpful, respectful and friendly team who want to ensure that the customer has a positive experience within the Shop Network.
DUTIES AND RESPONSBILTIES Responsible for the achievement of the specified sales and KPI related targets.
Analysis of key KPIs for the region.
Recruitment and selection of new team members, working closely with the HR team.
Responsible for the ongoing training and development of shop staff and effectively supervising and motivating team members in respective areas.
Working closely with Learning Development Specialist to ensure all shop staff are fully trained in the area of sales methods, inventory and product range management/product knowledge or any other areas identified.
Developing an awareness of market and ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty.
Collaborating with marketing, logistics and sales management to support marketing activities and implementation of marketing plans, promotions, productivity and efficiencies gains.
Adhering to all company policies, procedures and business ethics codes and ensure that they are all communicated and implemented by all of the team.
Attending meetings and travelling/visiting all shops as required by the nature of the job, along with scheduling/rostering for holiday/sickness as and when required.
Initiating and coordinating the development of shop action plans including the identification of future growth opportunities in all shops.
Responsible for all aspects of stock and product range management including inventory accuracy.
Ensuring that all legal requirements governing the operation of a branch office are complied with (e.g. health safety, emergency exits).
Undertaking any other duties commensurate with the role.
PROFESSIONAL KNOWLEDGE/EXPERIENCE/ABILITIES Experienced in the role of shop supervisor and or support or in a comparable function.
Experience and knowledge of all tasks related to shop performance.
Knowledge in the management of a team including recruiting, training, supervising and appraising staff.
Highly motivated and dynamic, target driven with a teamwork ethic.
Reliable, committed and enthusiastic with the ability to work on own initiative as well as in a team environment.
Business acumen and commercial awareness.
A proven capacity to quickly grasp new concepts.
